Our Team
Johnny first started plumbing in September 1992 and started out as a house plumber and worked at plumbing and heating houses for 6 years. He then started industrial plumbing and heating and built his own team and was a subcontractor working for a number of companies in Belfast for the next 9 years.
Johnny then started working for a local company as a contracts manager where he was managing schools, hotels and office in the north and south of Ireland, Scotland and England. From then he managed all the boiler house / plant-room works only, in all jobs. This meant taking on the 3D design works, prefabrication works in the workshop, haulage to site to final install on site.
Now a partner in NI Mechanical he includes himself in the design, prefabrication and final installation process for each client project.
Raymond has worked in the plumbing and heating industry for the past 20 years. He began his apprenticeship with Johnny in September 2000 where he worked for the next 8 years, during this time Raymond gained experience working in a number of schools, hospitals and apartments. Raymond was then offered a new role as contracts manager where he was based in an office looking after a number of jobs in Northern Ireland, England and Scotland both on and off site.
Over the years Raymond gained experience working on biomass plant-rooms, Prefabricated containerised units and skid-mounted units. This role also involved working alongside in-house CAD team dealing with 2D and 3D design drawings. Raymond is now a partner in NI Mechanical and has built a company that designs, build and installs plant rooms. With their combined skills Johnny and Raymond have many years of expertise in the industry.
